Dear ISCoS Member,
As you may be aware, the ISCoS Executive and Board have determined to develop a Strategic Plan for the Society in conjunction with a review of the ‘Objectives of ISCoS’. This will provide an opportunity to review and refine the Mission, Vision and Values of ISCoS, along with performing an environmental scan and identifying strategic issues, priorities, goals and objectives. The Executive and Board believe that this is vital for the success of ISCoS in its various initiatives and ventures and to help sketch out a roadmap for the future.
As a prelude to the development of the Strategic Plan, work is already underway by the Constitution and Bylaws Committee to review the Constitution in order to have clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ensuring the smooth functioning of the Society. Thanks for sending your views. The final report of the Committee incorporating all those suggestions will be circulated soon.
Since the development of a Strategic Plan provides an opportunity to listen to the voice of all members and transform those ideas into reality, it was decided to invite your feedback via Survey Monkey. Your responses will be used to inform a draft Strategic Plan, which will be discussed by the Past Presidents, Executive and Board at the upcoming ISCoS meeting in Nice. We plan to provide feedback and circulate a draft plan subsequently for further consideration and inputs. We will look forward to your wholehearted support for the success of this initiative.
