The ASIA Rehab Standards Committee is comprised of an interdisciplinary group of highly energized rehabilitation professionals. The committee has recently updated consumer guidelines for choosing a rehabilitation facility and is working on updating both print and electronic versions of the guidelines for use of DME for people with SCI. The Rehab Standards Committee recently completed the latest addition to the ASIA E-Learning Center on prevention and treatment of Pressure Injuries in individuals with Spinal Cord Injury. The Module focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to this challenging issue. We look forward to continuing to strive for best practices in the treatment of all individuals with SCI/D.
