Empower SCI Seeking Participants for Intensive Rehabilitation Program

Empower SCIEmpower Spinal Cord Injury is an intensive, residential rehabilitation program for adults with spinal cord injuries, which combines traditional and non-traditional approaches to rehabilitation to address clients' self-directed goals in a supportive, safe environment. Participants reside on-campus and days are filled with physical and occupational therapy, peer mentoring, rehabilitation counseling, adaptive sports and recreation, education and social outings.

After eight years of programming at Stony Brook University in New York, Empower SCI is excited to announce the launch of a one-week intensive rehabilitation program at the University of Montana in Missoula which will take place June 9-15, 2019.  

Applications for both the Stony Brook University Program (July 14-27), and Montana Program (June 9-15) are available now through May 31 and can be found here.The participation fee is $1,750 for Montana, and $2,750 for the 2-week program in New York. Scholarships are available.
